Holmes to be Mrs Cruise the third

TOM Cruise has taken the ultimate step to convince the world his romance with fellow actor Katie Holmes is not a publicity stunt. He's proposed.
Confirmation of his love for Holmes, 16 years his junior, was made in a very public way yesterday, like much of the pair's courtship.
Cruise told a press conference last night in Paris, the city of love, that he proposed to Holmes atop the Eiffel Tower, one of the world's most romantic spots, in the early hours of yesterday morning.
"Yes, I proposed to her. It was early this morning at the Eiffel Tower, so I haven't slept at all," he said.
"Today is a magnificent day for me; I'm engaged to a magnificent woman."

what the heck?? why get married at all - at least Elizabeth Taylor made some money, but why marry on a whim?
Yet another beard he'll eventually shave off.
At least the chicks he uses to conceal himself get some nice publicity out of it.
